Biography
General Interest
Hero / Idol Australian equestrian riders Andrew Hoy, Stuart Tinney, Heath Ryan, Megan Jones and Grace Bowman. (paralympic.org, 01 Sep 2016; paralympic.org.au, 18 Sep 2016)
Superstitions / Rituals / Beliefs "I have discovered that for me to stay relaxed and calm on competition days, I need to keep busy in the lead up to riding. If I sit and do nothing, I can start to get a few butterflies in the tummy. I like being around the horses prior to competing as well. I like having times written down so I know what we need to do and when. If I'm around the horses I can see when things are being done and if we are ahead or behind schedule - I find knowing this eases my mind." (equestrianlife.com.au, 01 Jun 2022)
Sporting philosophy / motto "Work hard, practice as often as you can afford and set goals big and small so you're always achieving something." (paralympic.org, 01 Sep 2016)
Awards and honours In 2017 she received the Against All Odds Award at the International Equestrian Federation [FEI] Awards Gala in Montevideo, Uruguay. (weeklytimesnow.com.au, 27 Dec 2017; equestrian.org.au, 22 Nov 2017)

In 2015 she was named Athlete of the Year by Equestrian Victoria in Australia. (Facebook page, 28 Aug 2018)
