General Interest
Injuries	In 2019 he sustained a knee injury. (tidningenridsport.se, 14 Mar 2020) In February 2015 he broke his left leg after his horse fell on top of him at a competition in Helsingborg, Sweden. (dn.se, 07 Feb 2015)
Sporting philosophy / motto	"When I was younger, I wanted to have command over the horse. Now it's about communication, to reach the horse by accessing its intellect and heart." (gp.se, 25 Feb 2014)
Milestones	He was part of the team that won Sweden's first team jumping gold medal at the world championships when they were victorious at the 2022 edition of the tournament in Herning, Denmark. (SportsDeskOnline, 07 Feb 2023; horseandhound.co.uk, 14 Aug 2022)
Famous relatives	His younger brother Peder has represented Sweden in equestrian jumping, and competed at the Olympic Games in 1992, 2004, 2016, and 2021. He won gold in the team competition and silver in the individual competition at the 2020 Games, having previously won individual silver at the 2016 Games and team silver at the 2004 Games. Jens' sister-in-law Lisen has also represented Sweden in the sport, and competed at the Olympic Games in 2000 and 2012.
