Equestrian Insta Sensations in September 2024!

27 September 2024

We look across the 'Gram for the best horsey pics, vids and fun!

After the Olympics drew to a close last month, we couldn’t be left hanging without some good equestrian action.

Luckily, we had plenty to tide us over through the month of September, from Paralympic medal glory, to the return of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ season in North America and watching some of the planet's most promising talents compete for top honours in the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses.

And, of course, as the Northern Hemisphere bid a sad farewell to summer and long days riding in the sun, the Southern Hemisphere eagerly welcomed back the warmer weather and started gearing up for a busy show season…

Ever had an Instagram post you wished you could just step directly into? If not… now you have.

Horse lovers have always known that their four-legged friends are healers, but this recent episode of RIDE shows how one extraordinary woman and her herd of former rescue horses are helping people at Epona Rise Retreat in Canada.

When you think of Para Equestrian champs, it’s probably the British and the likes of Natasha Baker – but now, there’s a new force in town! For the first time in history, the USA won Team gold in Paris and earned four Individual titles too! Gosh, they’ll even have home advantage in Los Angeles in four years’ time!

Listen, you two -- if you've got something to say, say it to my face!

Dalera may have retired from competition but she's still the biggest draw in Dressage. How about this standing ovation in Aachen!

If anyone out there has the proverbial ‘hot seat’, it’s Kent Farrington. You can always rely on him to be quick against the clock, and he and Greya were certainly not there to mess around when it came to the opening leg of the North American World Cup season. Watch his lightning-quick round here!

A Dressage performance or cross country run takes minutes, while a Jumping round takes even less time. But to complete an Endurance course you'll be out in the saddle for most of the day! Hats off to those human and equine talents who starred at the recent FEI Endurance World Championship in Monpazier, France...

Want to see what the best 7-year-old Jumping horse in the world looks like? Look no further! Piloted by Michael Pender, Irish Sport Horse HHH Mercedes is officially the winner of the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses in her age category. Talk about scope!
