Equestrian Insta Sensations in November 2024!

29 November 2024

We look across the 'Gram for the best horsey pics, vids and fun!

Can you believe November is nearly at an end and the festive season is around the corner? The month has flown by faster than Henrik von Eckermann in a jump off and here we are, already working on our wish-lists for Santa. Item one on that list: 16.3hh Hanoverian gelding, well-schooled, 10yo, ready to go and win at shows!

But before we get too excited for Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, Hanukkah, Shogatsu or the season that you celebrate, we’re here to look back on the last month. From groundbreaking new events to winning streaks, here’s a look at our Instagram highlights for November 2024.

Mexico held their first ever FEI Dressage World Cup™ qualifier this month, and it was a resounding success. There were Mexican decorations and music, sombrero-clad prizegiving ceremonies, and even a taco night! Plus, how clever is this post from FEI photographer Łukasz Kowalski?

From Olympic medallists in their 60s (we’re looking at you, Andrew Hoy!) to people learning to ride in their 70s, we absolutely love that when it comes to riding, age truly is just a number. How sweet is this?!

HUGE congratulations to Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and her wife Rasmine who are expecting a future equestrian superstar in 2025!

There’s no stopping the force that is Isabell Werth! Not only did she claim the title in Stuttgart, giving her back-to-back wins in the FEI Dressage World Cup™ series following a victory in Lyon, but she scored over 86% and took the top spot by more than 6%.

It isn’t only Queen Isabell who’s racking up back-to-back World Cup wins. Richard Vogel and his bay stallion United Touch S also came fresh off a win in Lyon and topped the leaderboards again in Stuttgart, to delight a home crowd.

No, truly, we weren’t joking. It really isn’t just Isabell. The almost-unbeatable Boyd Excell also came home with a first place in Stuttgart, having cleaned up at the Maastricht leg too. Something tells us he’s gunning for another FEI Driving World Cup™ title in 2025!

Are you even an equestrian if you haven’t ‘popped to the barn’ and accidentally missed drinks, dinner, a birthday party, and an entire weekend’s worth of plans?

We all know you can ‘ride along’ in Jumping with the leg lift we all subconsciously do as our favourite rider approaches a big fence…but did you know you can also Dressage along as a spectator? The proof is right here!

We’ll take nose wiggles till death do us part, please.
