It's Time to
#BeOne

11 July 2018

It’s exactly two months to go until the start of the FEI World Equestrian Games™… and it’s time to #BeOne.

With 1,000 athletes, 1,500 horses and 500,000 spectators from more than 70 countries expected in Tryon, North Carolina from September 11, the equestrian world will truly be as one.

As the entire community prepares to unite through sport and horsemanship, we honour and celebrate the unrivalled bond between horse and human that will be on show at the Games with the launch of our new #BeOne campaign...

The eighth edition of the Games – commonly known as WEG - is already generating huge excitement.

Fans and athletes are exhilarated by the prospect of the world’s best partnerships from across all the FEI disciplines uniting for a showcase of horse sport at the spectacular Tryon International Equestrian Center venue.

There are so many incredible stories to tell, both from past Games and a preview of those special moments to come. Whether you’re a Jumping superstar, a Vaulting medal hope, a Reining competitor, an Eventing fan, a volunteer or a groom, it’s time to come together and celebrate the sport and lifestyle we love!

It’s time to be passionate. It’s time to Be Epic. Be Free. Be United. Be Fearless. Be Spectacular. Be Victorious. #BeOne.

“We ask equestrian fans to come together and show their love of the sport at one of the biggest events in the world. It's the chance to celebrate everything that makes equestrianism one of the most loved sports worldwide.”

On FEI.org we’ve already looked at some inspirational stories of uniting and coming together. Just this week we spoke to Endurance athlete Marvin Brangman, a Bermudian bringing his country to the discipline for the first time. We’ve discovered the strength of the bond between Dressage hero Sönke Rothenberger and his Cosmo, and found out the full behind-the-scenes story of how the equestrian world came together for the first time at the inaugural WEG in 1990.

We've also looked at the unique magic of each of the equestrian disciplines - Dressage, Driving, Endurance, Eventing, Jumping, Para-Dressage, Reining and Vaulting.

It’s time to come
together and
celebrate the
sport we love

We’ll be finding out much more about the personalities who will be competing in Tryon in the coming two months.
