Olympic and X-Games medallist Nick Goepper tries horseriding. What does he think?

It's Part 2 of our series looking at a crossover between Equestrian sports and extreme skiing, and this time we have Olympic and X-Games medallist Nick Goepper.

He's just taken Olympic Silver for the USA in PyeongChang to add to his Bronze and currently holds 3 golds and 1 silver medal at the Winter X-Games.

He's at the top of his game.  His game being slopestyle Free-Skiing.

At just 23 years of age, Nick has taken the sport by storm, with his skill and talent going from strength to strength every time he competes.

At the 2014 Olympic Winter Games, he made history for his sport and the USA by taking home the first-ever bronze medal in ski slopestyle.  Quite an achievement for a 19 year old kid from Indiana!

To stay at the top, Nick has to keep fit.  But does he know how fit equestrians need to be to control a 500kg animal?

Following on from our previous video of Mac Bohonnon (Watch that HERE), Dressage athlete Ayden Uhlir took Nick to an equestrian centre to get him on the back of a horse before she tried some of his acrobatic skills at the US Ski & Snowboard Centre of Excellence in Utah.
