The two remaining German team members – Harry Boldt on Woyceck and Gabriela Grillo on Ultimo – who had placed second and fourth respectively in the Grand Prix, dropped to fifth and 10th in the ride-off. Nevertheless, this setback did not prevent them from securing the team title, ahead of Switzerland in silver.
