Fifteenth FEI Driving World Championship, Four-in-Hand

Wolfsburg, located in the German state of Lower Saxony, played host to the 15th edition of the FEI Driving World Championship for Four-in-Hand. Wolfsburg is famous as the location of Volkswagen AG's headquarters and the world's biggest car plant.

Ten years after the first FEI World Equestrian Games™ held in Stockholm (SWE) in 1990, Sweden made a brilliant comeback with an amazing double win. Individual gold went to Thomas Eriksson, who alongside Nicke Palsson and Fredrik Persson, helped secure team victory.

Ijsbrand Chardon (NED) and Félix Brasseur (BEL) were in silver and bronze individually, whereas The Netherlands and Germany were awarded the team silver and bronze respectively.
