The third FEI Driving World Championship for Four-in-Hand was held on the gorgeous grounds on the late 17th century Het Loo palace near Apeldoorn in The Netherlands. In 1971, the palace, which through the centuries had been used as a residence by the Dutch Royal Family, had been turned into a museum.
