In February 2022 she underwent surgery to treat neuropathic pain. (Facebook page, 25 Apr 2022) She broke her tibia and fibula in 2011 after her horse fell and landed on her. Despite the bones not being fully healed, she won silver and bronze medals at the European championships three months after her fall.
