Biography
General Interest
Most influential person in career Dutch jumper and coach Emile Hendrix. (noellefloyd.com, 18 Jan 2016)
Sporting philosophy / motto "As a rider I am very motivated, although the road towards the top is challenging. I know I can make it, but I also know that nothing comes for free." (abdelsaid.com, 11 Feb 2016)
Other information STABLES
In 2010 he set up AS Sport Horses at Stal Theeuwes in Zandhoven, Belgium, and in late 2016 moved into his own yard close by in Hernetals. He trains riders and horses, and trades jumping horses at international level. From age 14 he also had support from Team Harmony, a team of riders set up by former International Equestrian Federation [FEI] president Princess Haya. "Princess Haya and Team Harmony meant a lot to my business and I am very grateful for their support. The sport is too tough today to manage without such extra support. I started from nothing, no groom, just a truck my parents bought for me."
