In 2015 he and his wife Stephanie began running Stal Oxer in Evertsoord, Netherlands. He is in charge of coaching young riders in jumping, while Stephanie runs the horse breeding operation. He is also one of the founders of Equestrian Centre de Peelbergen in Kronenberg, Netherlands. The centre hosted its first international junior competition in June 2018. "We are 20 kilometres from the border of Belgium and 15 kilometres from the one with Germany. Here, you live only for horses. When you are born and live in Italy, there are a thousand distractions. We are also very lucky to have the largest equestrian centre in the country called Peelbergen in Kronenberg, 1.5 kilometres from our home. We have been partners and among other things, founding members together with 40 others."
