Other information GOING SOLO
He was previously employed as chief rider at Blue Hors Stud in Denmark. During his time there he won the Danish championships four years in a row on four different horses, and also took home medals from the World Equestrian Games [WEG] and the Olympic Games. However, he ended the seven-year relationship in 2008 to set up Helgstrand Dressage, and the business now has bases in Denmark, the United States of America and Germany. "The aim of Helgstrand Dressage is to create a place where well-trained and talented dressage horses are purchased and trained to grand prix level with the view to selling. I look forward to creating a place with an exclusive focus on dressage." (helgstranddressage.com, 14 Mar 2018; onthebit.com.au, 12 Mar 2009)
