Injuries In April 2013 he fell and fractured his lower back at the Winter Equestrian Festival [WEF] in Wellington, FL, United States of America. He was still able to complete the competition. (horseandcountry.tv, 04 Apr 2013)

He was kicked in the head by one of his horses in November 2012 after the animal slipped as he was walking it in his yard. The cut was glued rather than stitched and he claimed to be fine after the accident. (horseandhound.co.uk, 13 Nov 2012)
