General Interest
Most influential person in career Coach Walter Christensen. (FEI, 27 May 2004)
Sporting philosophy / motto "I'm the kind of person who likes to find a new solution to different problems. I can sit forever and try to figure something out, and that's a little bit how dressage can be, too. The relationship with the horse can be like that, to figure out how they think and react and how I can get them to do it the best way. I think it's really fascinating, so I think dressage suits my personality." (blog.wellingtonthemagazine.com, 01 Mar 2021)
Other information WINTER BASE
Since 2010 she has been spending the northern hemisphere winters in Wellington, FL, United States of America. Her husband Jan joins her in Wellington each winter. "It's like a dream world for a horse person to see so many stables. You think you are coming to a normal community, but it's just horses everywhere, and I think it is just great. Almost the whole town is built for horses, so it's an impressive thing to see first-hand. I think this combination of being able to compete and train and still be social with my family at the same time is a dream for me. If you're in Europe, then you travel for days before you even get to the show, and then you are gone for a week. Here, I can compete and still be home, which is very different. I can make the horses my focus here and still keep up with my family. I get to have both." (blog.wellingtonthemagazine.com, 01 Mar 2021)

Having spent five years training in Germany with Walter Christensen, she then ran her own business in Sweden, first in Sodertalje and then in Varmdo. In 2000 she took a job as stud and training manager at Lovsta Stuteri in Upplands Vasby, Sweden. "I'm living the dream of my life at Lovsta. The feeling of educating a horse and getting them to do all these magical things is just all I want to do in my life." (lovstastuteri.com, 01 Dec 2020; eurodressage.com, 10 May 2020; chronofhorse.com, 06 May 2010)

She retired her horse Don Auriello following the 2019 World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden. The pair competed together at the Olympic Games in 2012 and 2016, and the World Equestrian Games [WEG] in 2014 and 2018. "He has been my best friend for 10 years [speaking in 2019]. He would never ever let me down and he has given me more confidence in the arena. His charisma and willingness to work and show are incomparable and unique. He absolutely loves the attention from the big crowd." (eurodressage.com, 09 Nov 2020, 11 Oct 2019; svd.se, 01 Dec 2019; dressage-news.com, 28 Nov 2019)
