Dr Burger is a member of the Horse Commission Board of the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP), the Horse Commission of the Institut National pour la Recherche Agronomique (INRA) and the Board of the European State Stud Association (ESSA). He has been responsible for the Swiss equine research network since 2005.
