Professor Toutain is Professor of Physiology and Therapeutics at the University of Toulouse. He is a past-president of the European College of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology and former chairman of the Pharmacokinetics Working Party of the European Horseracing Scientific Liaison Committee. He has appeared in over 230 scientific publications.
