Reining Update

9 February 2006

Internal Western Riding Show to be held in Dortmund from 10-12 MarchFrom March 10 to 12, 2006 the renowned Dortmunder Westfalenhallen Show will include an international top class western show for the third time. The show will include top quality trail, western riding and western pleasure events plus cutting (planned), halter and reining offering a total purse of EUR 25 000.--. Dortmund should be one of the most important reining dates of the year at least for Germany, as it will be a meeting of WEG prospects for Aachen. Also, it is a qualifier for the 2006 World Reining Masters (in October in Denver, Colorado / U.S.A.). The CRI offers EUR 4000,-- now. The show is judged by Joe Carter, CAN and Andrea Simons, USA. Carter is known to be "The Judge Of Judges". He’s got all the cards, judged the 2002 WEG at Jerez and will lead an AQHA judges’ seminary in Großwallstadt after the show. Andrea Simons is equally well known and experienced. She judged the AQHA World Show several times, the Congress and the Futurity.
