GRASSROOTS PROGRAMME

At the heart of all of HSBC’s sponsorships is a strong commitment to developing youth, furthering education and embracing different communities. While HSBC is very proud that its backing of eventing at the highest international level raises competitiveness amongst the top riders and increases global awareness, it is equally proud of its support at the developmental stages of the sport.

HSBC, in partnership with the Pony Club, has introduced the HSBC Pony Club Eventing Training Programme. This enables young riders to access high-quality training with the best coaches, increasing both safety and their chances to succeed in the sport.

HSBC also provide training bursaries to the winners of the HSBC FEI Classics™ Special Prize at each Classics event. The award goes to the best placed rider who has not completed a CCI4* prior to this event and allows them to have the opportunity to seek unique training experiences.
