All existing FEI Official Veterinarians will be contacted via the email address held by the FEI with instructions on how to collect their ID document in time for the 1 June enforcement deadline.

An email will advise on the FEI ID and temporary password to access individual FEI User Accounts. On logging in you must accept the FEI General Regulations and FEI Official Veterinarian Codex (available here soon), change your password and update your personal details; access will then be granted to the PDF of your ID card. This personal ID card must be printed and an appropriately sized photograph attached, to carry during Events. The ID documents may be reassessed at any time, prior to their expiry.

The card will be valid for 5 years from the date issue, for revalidation attendance at an FEI Veterinary Course is compulsory, in addition to taking the online examination (Permitted Treating Veterinarian).

Failure to download the ID card before 28 February 2013 will result in suspension from the list of FEI Official Veterinarians, online examination and course attendance may then be required.
