2006 FEI World Equestrian Games Update: Vaulting

24 August 2006
The compulsory Vaulting tests also took place today. In the Female Individual competition, Megan Benjamin (USA) and Leonardo are in the lead (8,015). Ines Jueckstock (GER) and Dallmers Little Foot are in second position (7,967) and Sissi Jarz (AUT) and Escudo Fox are third with 7,948. Team Germany (RSV i. SC.36 Neuss-Grimlinlingam) aboard Cepin are in the lead (7,183). Austria (RC Wildeberg) on Libretto are closely behind with 7,169, followed by Switzerland (St. Gallen) on Le Grand (6,789). The Male Individual competition is still ongoing.

Alltech becomes the title sponsor of the 2010 FEI Games TM

19 June 2006
The contract between the global animal health company Alltech and the World Games 2010 Foundation, Inc. for the title sponsorship of the 2010 FEI GamesTM was signed today 19 June during a special ceremony, held at the Alltech International Headquarters in Kentucky (USA). The sponsorship fee amounts to USD 10 million. It is the first time in the history of this competition that an agreement of this type and magnitude has been made.Read more

Para-Equestrian Championships to be part of FEI GamesTM 2010 in Kentucky; Governor Fletcher announces historic milestoneLEXINGTON, KY (April 27, 2006) – The 2010 FEI GamesTM in Kentucky will make international equine history. For the first time ever, para-equestrian events will be part of the FEI GamesTM. All of the events have never been held together before. “For the first time in the history of the FEI GamesTM, not only will the games be held outside Europe, but all eight disciplines will take place in one venue,” said Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher.Read more

FEI World Equestrian Games 2006 in Aachen - Dressage

New medals confirmed for Dressage Grand Prix SpecialThe Organising Committee of the2006 FEI World Equestrian Games have confirmed today that they agreed to implement the new FEI Dressage Rules (22nd edition, effective 1 January 2006) and award medals to the winner of the Grand Prix Special. According to the new article 445 of the FEI Dressage Rules, medals are awarded for all three competitions of FEI Senior Championships, i.e. the Grand Prix (Team Championship Competition) the Grand Prix Special (Individual Competition) and the Grand Prix Freestyle Test (Individual Competition).Read more

The FEI World Equestrian Games become the FEI Games™ in 2010!

A new identity for the FEI World Equestrian Games has been unveiled: the “FEI Games™”.The new identity for the FEI World Equestrian Games was developed in cooperation with an external brand consultant -Design Bridge-, an Amsterdam located international design agency. The defined main objectives for this new and exciting brand were to clarify the ownership of the competition, to enhance its marketability and to create a clear and strong identification that is easy to be understood by all.Read more
