Eventing Course Designer Selected for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

The World Games 2010 Foundation, Inc., the organization responsible for planning, staging, and conducting the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, today announced that Michael Etherington-Smith has been selected as the Eventing Course Designer for the 2010 Games. Mr. Etherington-Smith brings to the Foundation more than 30 years of international experience in competition riding, training and course designing. 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games Begins Advance Registration for Trade Show

The World Games 2010 Foundation, Inc. has announced the launch of an advance registration program for tradeshow spaces at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, scheduled to take place at the Kentucky Horse Park 25 September – 10 October 2010. The advance registration program will begin in October, and will allow vendors to secure priority status for selecting a final exhibit location on the Kentucky Horse Park grounds once plans have been finalized.Read more

Plans being made to fix up downtown

In Aachen, Germany, the Games were within walking distance of the cobble-stoned town square, fringed by cafés and shops and dominated by the Gothic City Hall. World Games 2010 Foundation Announces New Director of Community and Volunteer Affairs

The World Games 2010 Foundation, Inc., the organization responsible for planning, staging, and conducting the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, today announced that Cathy Rutter has been hired as the Director of Community and Volunteer Affairs. Mrs. Rutter joins the Foundation after more than 20 years at Churchill Downs, Inc., where she most recently served as Vice President of Operations Services, helping to build and solidify ties with state, local, and neighborhood leaders in communities where the company did business.Read more

World Games Foundation Announces Para-Equestrian Discipline Manager

10 August 2007
The World Games 2010 Foundation, Inc. today announced Lloyd Landkamer, of Hamel, Minnesota as the Para-Equestrian Discipline Manager for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Mr. Landkamer becomes one of nine managers responsible for planning, managing and directing the World Championship competitions in eight equestrian sports, communicating with the High Performance community and related organizations, and overseeing development and administration of the discipline’s budget. The nine managers will work on a contract basis with the World Games 2010 Foundation, Inc.Read more
