From Grass Roots to Top Level
The primary mission of the FEI is to advance the orderly growth of equestrian sport worldwide by promoting, regulating and administering humane and sportsmanlike international competition”
Equestrian sport, with its many disciplines is a diverse and global sport, and hence around the world there are a number of events taking place daily. Over the past ten years, the number of international events per year has grown from 657 in 1999 to 2683 in 2009. The Events section is devoted to all major events happening around the world and is subdivided into the following sections – Games, Championships, Series & Finals - you simply need to scroll through the type of event you are looking for (ie. Olympic Games in Games or Rolex FEI World Cup Jumping in Series) and a page with all the relevant information around that event will be displayed. You will also find a sub-section outlining the process to host FEI Championships and another explaining the different categories of events.
