Series and Events

  • Series and Events in Jumping

    Jumping is a global and widely practiced sport, and is undoubtedly the best known of the equestrian disciplines recognised by the FEI where men and women compete as equals in both individual and team events. It is also the discipline with the  most international events per year – with no less than 1229 Jumping events held in 2010 (for more statistics, check out the FEI Annual Report.     Olympic Games
    The Olympic Games take place every four years in a bissextile year. The last edition of the Olympic Games was held in Hong Kong (CHN) in 2008. To view results and more information, click here. The next Games will be staged in 2012 in London (GBR). For more information, click here.

    FEI World Equestrian Games™
    The FEI World Equestrian Games™ are held every four years in the even years between the Olympic Games. In 2010, the Games did cross the Atlantic for the very first time and were held in Kentucky (USA). For more information, click here. The next Games will be staged in 2014 in Basse-Normandie (FRA).     Rolex FEI World Cup™ Jumping
    The Rolex FEI World Cup™ Jumping series serves as a showcase for the best in individual FEI Jumping, with the finest ingredients of international competition.

    FEI Nations Cup™ Top League and FEI Nations Cup™ Promotional League
    The FEI Nations Cup™ Series is the equestrian world's oldest and most prestigious team competition dating back to 1909. With the exception of Games and Championships, it is the only competition in which official teams representing nations compare their merit.
