FEI ENTRY SYSTEM

It was voted at the FEI General Assembly 2011 held in Rio (BRA) to implement the FEI Entry system starting 2013 which will be mandatory for all FEI Events.
FEI Entry system is a key process that involves all event stakeholders: National federations, Organising Committees as well as the FEI.
This new service which is aimed at National Federations and OCs will
- Improve the automation and exchange of data between the NFs and the FEI with a developed IT system
- Provide IT tools to NFs with no IT system in place
- Improve exchange and communication between the OC and the invited federations
- Give a better quality and traceability of the data
The system will be launched gradually adding more and more events each month. The detailed list of events for the first month is available below:

National Federations
If you are a National Federation, you are now able to manage the entries of your athletes and horses. To help you with this process you will find below some useful links and documents:

FEI Entry System Web Services and Entry Files
As a National Federation, in addition to the web interface, you have different and easy ways to make your entries:
- Use the Entry files produced in CSV or XML format by your system. The full documentation is available here.
- Use the Web Services which will allow you to connect your system with the FEI Entry System. This will help you to do your entries through your own system and will automatically update the FEI Entry System.

National Federation are requested to fill if this form in order to set up the basic parameters for the FEI Entry System specific to each National Federation.

Many information available on the FEI Database could also be accessible through clear (not encrypted) URL’s.

Approved Schedule available online
A new function is now available on data.fei.org. The schedules of all Jumping events are now uploaded by the FEI once they are approved and can be found within the FEI Calendar.
Masterlists
With this new system, you have the possibility to download masterlists, entries lists and all information about athletes and horses entered into events (i.e.: FEI IDs).
National Federations delegation of rights to the Organising Committees
National Federations can choose to delegate their rights to the Organising Committees for the entries or Late entries only as well as the substitutions and additions on the ground.
On the document "Rights delegation for OCs" you can check which National Federation delegates its rights to the Organising Committee.

IT Providers
We know that some IT Providers work closely with the Organising Committees. Therefore, we are giving them the possibility to provide the OC with an access to the FEI Entry System.

Access to the FEI Entry System
In order to get an access to the FEI Entry System, please send your request directly to the OC you are going to work with and provide them with your personal FEI ID if you already have one.

The new FEI Entry System will have no impact for the Athletes.
Your Registration and the one of your Horse(s)
Please make sure that you and your horse(s) are registered for the current year, or your National Federation and the Organising Committee will not be able to register you in the events.
