Sport Specific Information
When and where did you begin this sport? She took up the sport at her local riding school at age nine. She participated in her first official dressage competition at age 23.
Why this sport? Her mother bought her a riding lesson for her birthday. She began riding once a fortnight and then became a helper at the yard, which led to her riding more and more often. "I was pony mad and had my first lesson aged nine. We couldn't really afford it so I rode all the mad, bad, crazy ponies in return for working."

Memorable sporting achievement Her performance at the 2007 Grand Prix in Balve, Germany. "Probably on paper my biggest achievement was coming 10th at the European championships [in 2007], but in my opinion my biggest achievement was actually coming eighth at the German selection trial at Balve, a big German show." Other information STABLES In 2018 she purchased Barons Wood Stables in Crediton, England, and established Elite Dressage LLP as her new training base. She had previously been based at Altogether Equestrian near Salisbury, England. "Over the last few years my business has gone from strength-to-strength, but my previous base was incredibly restricting and I had no space to grow. My dreams to expand the business have come true and I'm delighted to have purchased my own land, complete with the facilities needed to double my clientele. All my team are coming with me, so nothing changes there. I just hope we are going to be able to do everything bigger and better."
