Other information GOING SOLO
He was employed as chief rider at Blue Hors Stud in Denmark, which earned him rides on horses such as Blue Hors Matine, Blue Hors Don Schufro, Blue Hors Cavan and Gredstedgaards Casmir. He won the Danish championships four years in a row on four different horses, and also took home medals from the World Equestrian Games [WEG] and the Olympic Games. However, he ended the seven-year relationship in 2008 to set up his own business, Helgstrand Dressage. "The aim of Helgstrand Dressage is to create a place where well-trained and talented dressage horses are purchased and trained to grand prix level with the view to selling. I look forward to creating a place with an exclusive focus on dressage." (, 28 Aug 2017;, 12 Mar 2009)
