Famous relatives His son Ben has represented Canada in equestrian jumping at World Cup and Nations Cup events. His wife Nancy Southern has also competed in the sport. Her family owns the Spruce Meadows showjumping facility in Calgary, AB, Canada. She is also a former director of Shell Canada and the Bank of Montreal. After spending a period working as resident rider for the Southern family at their Spruce Meadows complex, he set up Attache Stables with his wife Nancy.
