Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games to Gain Mass Exposure From Highway Signs Across Kentucky
More than 400 million travelers will pass by leading up to the GamesThe 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games have stated that the placement of six highway signs informing travellers of the upcoming event, will reap immeasurable benefits for the Games, its sponsors and Kentucky. “We cannot express how excited we are that the state has embraced the Games to this level,” stated Jack Kelly, CEO of the event. “This really shows that Kentucky understands the magnitude of this event and we thank the Transportation Cabinet and Department of Tourism for making these signs happen.” The 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of fans from around the world. On average, more than 55,000 cars pass by each of the six locations daily. With approximately 42 months between now and the Games, that totals more than 400 million cars, whose occupants will see these signs. “There is no more visible opportunity to educate and remind people that the Games are coming than on our interstates,” Kelly added. “We are also pleased that Alltech and the FEI, who are also undergoing branding efforts, can benefit from these signs, as well.” Announced last week by the Kentucky Department of Transportation, the signs are emblazoned with the Unbridled Spirit mark and state that Kentucky is “Home of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.” Currently, the signs are placed near highway entrances to the state at the following locations: · I-65 Northbound in Simpson County · I-65 Southbound in Bullitt County · I-75 Southbound in Boone County · I-75 Northbound in Whitley County · I-64 Eastbound in Shelby County · I-64 Westbound in Carter County Media Contact: Terry Johnson World Games 2010 Foundation, Inc. ++1 859-255-2010 ext. 222 For more information on the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games visit www.feigames2010.org.
