The FEI World Endurance Championships for 7 and 8 year old horses was held last weekend at Compiegne near Paris.
Throughout the day the competitors and horses battled against torrential rain whilst covering the 120km course in and around the stunning forest and countryside of the Compiegne region.
The superb facilities at the venue and the challenging course attracted a total of 57 horses and riders in the 7 year old class and some 49 in the 8 year old class.
