The FEI Driving Technical Committee have announced the qualification criteria for the following World Driving Championships:

2009 Championships Qualification Criteria – posted 2^nd May 2008

2009 - World Horse Championships (Pairs) – Kecskemet (HUN) 18^th August to 23^rd August.

Drivers and all horses must successfully complete all three competitions at a combined National or FEI International Driving Event in their own class and, in doing so, achieve a result of 65 penalty points or less in the Dressage Competition -Test 8b, as outlined in art 901 of the FEI Rules for Driving. This criteria to be achieved in current year of the Championship, up to the date for nominated entries, or during 2008.

2009 - Championnat du monde pour attelages à deux chevaux - Kecskemet (HUN) 18 - 23 août.

Les meneurs et tous les chevaux doivent avoir participé avec succès aux trois compétitions d'un concours complet d’Attelage national ou international dans leur catégorie. Ils doivent avoir ainsi obtenu un résultat de 65 points de pénalité ou moins lors de la compétition de Dressage, test 8b, comme stipulé dans l’Art. 901 du Règlement d’Attelage. Toutes ces conditions doivent avoir été remplies durant l’année courante dudit Championnat, avant le délai des engagements nominatifs, ou durant l’année 2008.

2009 - World Pony Championships – St Martin Greven (GER)  14^th August – 16^th  August

Drivers and all ponies must successfully complete all three competitions at a combined National or FEI International Driving Event in their own class and, in doing so, achieve a result of 65 penalty points or less in the Dressage Competition - Test 10 for the Pairs and Four-in-Hand, and Test 9 for the Singles as outlined in art 901 of the FEI Rules for Driving. This criteria to be achieved in current year of the Championship, up to the date for nominated entries, or during 2008.

2009 - Championnat du monde pour attelages à les poneys – St Martin Greven (GER) 14 – 16 août

Les meneurs et tous les poneys doivent avoir participé avec succès aux trois compétitions d'un concours complet d’Attelage national ou international dans leur catégorie. Ils doivent avoir ainsi obtenu un résultat de 65 points de pénalité ou moins lors de la compétition de Dressage, test 10 (à deux et quatre chevaux) et test 9 (à un cheval), comme stipulé dans l’Art. 901 du Règlement d’Attelage. Toutes ces conditions doivent avoir été remplies durant l’année courante dudit Championnat, avant le délai des engagements nominatifs, ou durant l’année 2008.

2008 - World Horse Championships (Four-in-Hand) – Beesd (NED) 3rd September – 7th September.

Drivers and all horses must successfully complete all three competitions at a combined National or FEI International Driving Event in their own class and, in doing so, achieve a result of 70 penalty points or less in the Dressage Competition -Test 8A, as outlined in art 901 of the FEI Rules for Driving. This criteria to be achieved in current year of the Championship, up to the date for nominated entries, or during 2007.

2008 - Championnat du monde pour attelages à quatre chevaux - Beesd (NED) 3 - 7 septembre

Les meneurs et tous les chevaux doivent avoir participé avec succès aux trois compétitions d'un concours complet d’Attelage national ou international dans leur catégorie. Ils doivent avoir ainsi obtenu un résultat de 70 points de pénalité ou moins lors de la compétition de Dressage, test 8A, comme stipulé dans l’Art. 901 du Règlement d’Attelage. Toutes ces conditions doivent avoir été remplies durant l’année courante dudit Championnat, avant le délai des engagements nominatifs, ou durant l’année 2007.

This criteria to be achieved in current year of the Championship, up to the date for nominated entries, or during 2007.
